Ingredients for Unleavened Bread
- flour (whole wheat, white or 50/50 of your choice);
- water;
- salt
How To Make
In a suitable bowl, mix the flour and salt, and gradually add water. Knead with quick and firm movements for about 3 minutes or until you get a smooth and elastic dough. If the dough is sticky, add more flour to it.
Do not let the dough rest, but immediately make 4 balls out of it and roll them into thin disks. Pierce the loaves with a fork (5-6 times each) and arrange them in a tray on baking paper. Bake at 200 degrees until golden brown.
Remove the bread from the oven and serve while still warm. You can store it in a plastic bag at room temperature for up to 3 days.
