250 ml. milk;<\/li>\n

Here’s How To Make a Christmas Loaf<\/h2>\n

Warm the fresh milk in a bowl until it is pleasantly warm (not hot) when you dip your finger in it. Add to the warm milk 2 tsp. sugar, yeast and 3 tablespoons of flour, mix, cover with a towel and leave for 10-15 minutes to activate the yeast. Then add the salt, oil and eggs to it and mix. Gradually add flour and knead a soft dough.<\/p>\n
Transfer the dough to a greased bowl, cover it with foil and a towel and let it rise for about an hour (it should double in size). Knead the already risen dough and divide it into 4 equal parts. Roll each ball into a thin crust 4-5 ml thick. Grease the first crust abundantly with oil, put the other one on top of it, grease it again and do the same with all of them, leaving the top one ungreased.<\/p>\n
Roll out the crusts slightly stacked on top of each other and cut the dough into triangles (as you cut a pizza) using a pizza knife. Roll them up, like croissants, starting from the thick to the thin end. Arrange the rolled pieces in a pre-greased baking pan. Cover with a towel and leave to rise for another half hour.<\/p>\n
