The first step of the recipe for spaghetti with chicken and broccoli is the selection and preparation of the products. You can use any kind of chicken, but white meat is best. The meat should be either chilled or if completely thawed. To save a little more on cooking time, cut the chicken into bite-size pieces. Sprinkle them with salt and pepper and mix well.
Bring water to a boil in a pot, then add salt and the prepared spaghetti. Boil according to package instructions. If using fresh broccoli, cut into florets, wash and add to spaghetti 3 minutes before done, then drain. If you use frozen, add them after the spaghetti is cooked and drained from the water. Meanwhile, pour 1 tablespoon of oil into a pan and fry the chicken cut into pieces, together with the cleaned and grated carrot.
In a small pot or casserole, pour the soy sauce, sugar, black pepper, ginger and oil. Stir well, then put on the stove to boil. Add the sauce to the chicken and let it boil for about 5 minutes. Add the chicken with the sauce to the spaghetti with the broccoli, stir and serve hot.
