- 450 g yogurt;
- 1 tsp baking soda;
- 2 eggs;
- 60 ml. oil;
- 1 tsp. salt;
- 1 tsp. sugar;
- flour (as much as it takes for a soft dough).
How to make Simple Irish Soda Bread
Dissolve the soda in the yogurt and let it bubble for 2-3 minutes. Pour it into a large bowl and add the two eggs, oil, sugar, salt and mix well. Add flour a little at a time until you have a soft dough (it may even be slightly sticky).
Put baking paper in a suitable tray, grease your hands with oil and shape the dough into a circle, pressing on top with your palms. So shaped soda bread with yogurt and eggs, bake at 180 degrees until golden.
